A quick October roundup

While waiting for some big gaming news, I seem to have missed an number of smaller items over the last month or so.
First off is the TEK review you've all been waiting for over at the Acorn Gaming website.
Ok, in view of how long we've waited for it, that was quite an important piece of news and I can't think how I missed it!

Secondly, Chris Bazley has released another update to Starfighter 3000 taking it to version 2.04. You can get this from his Starfighter 3000 website.

Third, it seems that Superior Software are making a return to the computer games industry. Now under the name Superior Interactive, they are making Repton available for the PC and other platforms and are advertising for further software and programmers. Unfortunately there is no mention of RISC OS.

On an Emulation note, Andreas Dehmel has updated the C64 emulator, V.I.C.E to 1.10 in line with all the other platforms. Get it from the VICE homepage page, as Andreas's website still seems to show the older 1.9 version.
Finally, Michael Foot's BBC emulator, BeebIt has been updated to version 0.45 with the result that the water level in Exile is now correct and at last, Firetrack works!

Unregistered user Thanks,
Some credit is due to Andrew Poole as it was him who told me about Superior Interactive and prompted me to do a news update ;-)
Cheers!
