I've had some flappy DNS issues to it today, often loading on the second occasion. |

It's fine for me but, judging by this thread on csa.apps, it does appear there may be a problem for some people. |

Well, DownForEveryoneOrJustMe.com says:
It's just you. riscos.info is up. However, I also can't access it from here, so there's some sort of issue happening somewhere along the line. Tracert is unable to resolve it. |

It remains stubbornly accessible for me. And I'm on Virgin, which is who some people on Usenet are blaming it on. |

The other thing which helps rule out VirginMedia is the fact that Jason's unable to reach it. |

spamassassin has a tendency to eat CPU at certain times of the day, rendering the system briefly unusable - I'll try and scale it back some time when I get enthused. But that shouldn't affect DNS, which is done by the hosting provider (linode.com if anyone cares) - such faults could lie anywhere.
So, apologies, but since I use it for my personal stuff too, I try to keep an eye on it. And one other person does have root access in case of emergency. |

This is seriously weird. David Pitt in the matching thread on comp.sys.acorn.misc suggested trying http://www.embeddedlinuxsolutions.com/ since they resolve to the same IP
riscos.info still won't load, but the other one is ok. Think that's Peter's personal stuff.
Scratches head, gets splinter, obviously that's the problem |

Think that's Peter's personal stuff. The solution is obviously to not host your pr0n on your webserver. |

It's now back up here, and I do seem to be getting less other time-outs, so it's possible it was down to T-mobile's mobile internet. |

Well I can't reach it and I'm in Finland, so it's definitely not just your mobile internet connection. |
