The science museum used to have a BBC which had a proggy on it which tried to guess what animal you were describing. The main flaw with this was that if you put an animal in it didn't recognise it allowed you to describe it, which only opened the door to abuse when you said the animal had 5 or more legs, or more than one head, etc.

Interestingly, an early implementation of the game was one of the first trojan horses, with a payload that was one of the first viruses.
