I am looking for a RiscPC or an A7000 computer. I used to use them at school and fancy having one on my desk to play around with.

Not too bothered about accessories and the like, other than a keyboard if it was a RiscPC.

I am in the Leeds so could collect or if further afield arrange a courier to collect.

Regards

Dan (danhans115)

Dear all,

    Dear all,

Our family's Risc PC stopped working a while ago, I believe it's a power supply issue as it won't do a thing. Initially I intended to replace the PSU but have never had the time. We're now about to move house & don't want to move it with us so it's got to go.

Spec is:
- RISC OS 3.5 OS
- ARM 610 processor
- upgraded HDD (Conner 540MB CFS541A)
- original high density floppy drive
- Mozart sound card
- Texas instruments 486 SXL-40 (Aleph One) PC card
- 8MB RAM
- I think 1MB VRAM but can't be sure
- single 'slice'
- no network card I'm afraid
- usual "broken spring flappy cover" endearing feature(!)
- original AKF60 Acorn monitor
- original Acorn keyboard & 3-button mouse
- original Risc PC 600 box(!)

If this is of interest to anyone please get in touch, I've no idea what it's worth but would rather someone who'd make good use of it has a chance to show an interest so am advertising here before posting on eBay.

I'm near Southampton for collection purposes.

Regards,

Chris

Chris Mitchell (chrism)
