The link to the mirror at the bottom of that page is wrong, link not found.

Also, 500pix fixed width page, yuck :-(

AIUI there is no South West show this year, and the Wakefield show will be online on Saturday 24th April.

We aren't running a SW show this year, because Wakefield were concerned that two digital shows in such close proximity would be repetitious. We agreed, so the smaller show "took one for the team".

I guess a virtual show location is not important either.

Would it be worth updating the south west show site and putting out an official announcement?

@Andrew: Now both links for the complete disc images are dead...would be nice if you can fix it soon...lots of people would go for that I think. Especially people new to RISC OS. Just tell us and in the RISC OS Open forum when it's done...

Hi Michael - could you refresh the page please because I updated the links first thing Monday morning. I'm just wondering if you tried just moments before my upload, as it would have been around the time you posted.

Bad luck/timing, I think (hope!).

The mirror is still down, though, because Google seem to have eaten the Google Drive download. I need to investigate that.

@Andrew: Thanks, works now !

Just I got a problem writing that disc image to a 16 GByte card...it's simply too big...I tried formating the sd card in NTFS/exFAT/FAT to see if that helps...Etcher always reports 'too small'.

Generally on the web page it's not quite clear what a user should download or what's the difference between the 3 available downloads, especially for newbies...may be you should state that in a more clear way.

Must admit, I wondered the same. There are multiple links, and it is not clear what the differences are.

I assume the upgrade one is a zip designed to open on RISC OS and extract over the top of your main disc. But that is only a guess.

If you download and read the instructions, it should be clear. However, putting some dates on the downloads on the site might make things make better sense, perhaps. I can see how it would be confusing if you didn't know the history.

It upgrades a standard RISC OS Direct disc image / installation with all the necessary bits to move to a newer version of RISC OS with Pi4/400 compatibility, as well as updates to bundled software elements.

The upgrade allows existing Direct users to move their installs to Pi4 without losing any data. Reflashing a whole new card image would wipe out anything that went before.

It was also massively easier for me to produce than doing a whole fresh card image. Remember that this is quite a lot of hours of "labour of love", so anything that makes it manageable is, well, good!
